Minutes from August 17, 2022 meeting read and approved.
Treasurer report given by Michele Gantzert. Beginning balance $152.08. 2022 ending balance $224.08
Motion to approve treasury report made by Pricie Rogan . Approved by all.
Old business:
1.Maximum two RENTAL golf carts for each foursome.
2. Verification our online signing up for tee times is fair for all.
3. If a foursome chooses not to play the weekly event, all their scoring for that day is not recorded.
4. Solo playing is not permitted for league play.
New Business on executive agenda:
1. President Casey asked for volunteers to assist her handicap subcommittee chairperson Lenore Rocco on how best(if at all) to close a gap in the “A“flight handicap. 5 ladies with handicap expertise volunteed to assist Rocco with some suggestions and options for Spring 2023…. TBD. However, Deb Nona felt the handicap gap was related to the number of members. President Casey disagreed. Nona asked for a motion to vote on a change in our present bylaws of 50 members to 40 members. President Casey opposed the unjust vote and opposed any change in bylaw. In spite of the opposition, a vote took place and it was voted that there will NOT be any changes in our bylaws and our membership will REMAIN at a 50 person maximum league.
2. Two new officers for 2023. Vice President, Doris Schramer. Treasurer, Mary Ann McGovern.
Lenore Rocco on-line signup. Dan Rogan will be the weekly monitor for the 2023 season.

The Spring luncheon will be April 26,2023 and hosted by Carol Bax and Christy McGown..location TBD.

The fall luncheon will be October 4, 2023 and will be hosted by Leslie Applegate and Vera James, location TBD.

Spring Luncheon minutes April 27, 2022
Meeting called to order by President Paris Casey at 12:30. Pledge to the flag led by Paris.
Luncheon prayer given by Pricie Rogan.
31 members in attendance. Current membership is 43, 19 club members and 24
non-membering guests. Welcome to all returning members and our new members.
Officers introduced: Paris Casey, President, Barb Miller, Vice President, Michele Ganzert,
Treasurer, Pricie Rogan, Secretary, Lenore Rocco, in charge of handicaps, Deb Nona in charge
of managing prizes for chip-in/birdies, Leslie Applegate in charge of weekly events, Rita web/LT
manager, weekly sign in monitors are: Paris, Pricie and Dan, Lenore and Leslie. Thanks
extended to Sandy Ekkert and Sandy Renner for our luncheon today and for the lovely golf
favors and table centerpieces.

$152.08, not including 6 outstanding checks to be deposited. Motion to approve financial report,

Punch card purchase deadline is this Friday. It was suggested two recorders each week for the
foursome. One person will record everyone’s score online and one card will be turned in for
chip-in/birdies. Always a good idea to take a photo of your card in case a card goes missing,
New players need 3 rounds of golf to determine handicap. If you have a handicap contact
Lenore Rocco. Players are eligible to win one event per month in each category of golfers (A, B,
C, D). Leslie Applegate will notify weekly by email the winner’s names.
First day of golf is May 4th, a scramble. Sign up online under Google sheets. Use any device, if
cell phone double tap, if using a computer hit enter. Please input first name and last initial when
signing up for a tee time, Please try to allow new members the first to rows of foursome sign so
we can mix new with returning members. Remember your name tags next week.

May and September tee time start at 8a.m. Summer tee time starts at 7:30. Paris will notify by
email if there is a rainout by 7a.m. Please remember to check your emails on Wednesday
morning if it is raining or threats of rain. Contact Paris and a member of your foure if you will be
absent, including morning of! You must play 9 games of golf to be eligible for money prizes at
the fall luncheon. You will receive a refund if you do not play ANY rounds of golf. Please read
the rules and etiquette prior to the first day of golf found on our website. Please sign scorecards
(very legibly) last name on score card and first initial. Circle all birdies, write chip in on the hole (
example of how to record a chip would be recorded this way, at hole 9 I was off the green in 2, I
chipped it in so my score for hole 9 would be 3/0. Please make sure that two signatures are
signed on the back of the scorecard prior to handing in the scorecards.
All golfers tee off from the white box. If there are markers on the tee, tee off between or behind
markers, if there are no markers in the tee box any place is allowed for tee off. After 10 strokes
pick up the ball and no putts are recorded. A whiff is counted as a stroke, no mulligans or
breakfast balls (sorry). No longer than 3 minutes looking for a lost ball, if not found drop where it
went into “lost” and take a penalty stroke for the lost ball. For example if on your tee shot you
lost your ball and dropped a ball you would be hitting ball 3. One stroke penalty for a provisional
ball. Unplayable lie you may move the ball two club lengths for one penalty stroke, Play ready
golf to keep the game moving along, not necessarily in order on the fairway, if you are ready and
the other person is getting a club go ahead and hit. Please be honest with counting your strokes
either with beads or some other counting device. Do not stop in front of the greens to write down
your foursome scores, move to the side or at the next hole get scores. 2 stroke penalty for sand
trap relief. If your ball is up against the fence, move the ball one club length and take a 1 stroke
penalty. Structural interference moves the ball one club length and that is a free relief, You are
NEVER allowed to touch your ball on the fairway. Free relief if your ball lands in standing water,
in any area. Free relief if the ball lands on gravel for repair or cart path, cement road or sprinkler
head.
NEW BUSINESS
Days to remember: August 3 is our picnic, September 28th is the last day of golf, October 5th
will be our Fall luncheon and awards ceremony.
July 29 purchase custom card punch card from Michele Ganzer, pay by check made out to:
LLGL. Officers are now using banking online with BMO Harris.
Punch card systems for non-member/guest are to sign in on a weekly sheet as 500 for
membership number. Members sign in as regular on the register sheet.
Non-member/guest signs in with the monitor and have your card punched (REMEMBER TO
BRING YOUR PUNCH CARD WEEKLY) one for golf and one riding in acart. Each rider will
need to sign for the cart and record your cart number and indicate on the sheet that you are a
one cart rider.
In the event a walker desires a cart that week please put $10.00 in a marked envelope or
ziplock with your name. YOU will follow the above mentioned to sign for a cart.
During the play if rain should start and you are eligible for a refund see one of the officers to
have your punch hole initial for future credit. If you were not at the luncheon you can pick your
punch card up from the monitor the first day of golf.

Minutes from 9/30/2020 Meeting
New Business for 2021
Next season we will go to 4 Classes (A, B, C, & D) . This will allow for more winners each event.
In addition, for our annual tournament we will have winners for both Net and Gross score.
We will be increasing dues from $20 to $35 to cover the additional class and tournament winners.
Starting next year, we will pick up if the ball is not holed by 10. If you pick up, you will put 10 for your score, circle it, and give 2 putts. If you have a TRUE 10, no circle will be put in.
Best ball at the end of the season was a success. Next season (weather permitting), we will do a best ball for our first event of the season and then best ball at the end of the season.

Joan Lesnik agreed to set up a Spring Luncheon, providing we can have one!
Our picnic will be the first Wednesday in August. Everyone will provide their own meal and beverages.
Leslie Applegate agreed to plan the fall luncheon, providing we can have one.
